Product Safety

Every product is carefully developed to comply with the Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation. Below you will find essential safety guidance and information on how we label our candles to ensure full transparency and regulatory compliance.

Candle Safety Guidelines

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended
  • Burn candles out of reach of children and pets
  • Always leave a minimum of 10cm between burning candles, do not burn the candle on or near anything that could catch fire
  • Burn on a level, heat resistant surface, do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
  • Do not allow the flame to touch the side of the container
  • On the first burn, always burn for 3-4 hours to ensure an even melt pool
  • Trim the wick to 5mm in height before each burn
  • Container may become hot when burning
  • Extinguish flame when 5mm wax remains and do not relight

Each candle includes a safety label with usage instructions and hazard information on the base of the vessel ensuring customers are aware of the potential allergens or hazards and can make informed decisions.

We are committed to clean, safe burning and transparent labelling. All of our candles are:

  • Made with natural soy wax
  • Free from paraffin, phthalates and animal derived ingredients
  • Hand poured in small batches with care

Candles are safe to use around pets in most circumstances but they should be kept well out of their reach, as essential oil products need to be used with caution around pets. If any liquid containing essential oils comes into physical contact with your pet, rinse with cold water and seek the advice of your vet as a precaution.

If you believe an essential oil product could be affecting your pet, stop using it immediately and seek advice from your vet.
